Rate limits

Requests per minute by IP, per-endpoint REST limits, WebSocket limits per connection and command, and open orders per market for Spot Trading API.

Spot Trading API limits requests per IP address and per user account, WebSocket messages per connection and per command, and orders per market.

REST rate limits

Every REST call counts against a limit of requests per minute per IP address, set by your tier:

Exceeding it returns 429. Repeated violations get you banned with 418. To request a new tier, contact support.

Some endpoints also have their own limit per user account:

Connections to wss://ws.bit2me.com/v1/trading are limited per IP and per connection:

Each command also has its own limit per connection. The connection is aborted when a limit is reached.

These limits apply to REST and WebSocket orders alike. Limits per symbol, by user tier:

Advanced	Market makers, high-frequency trading	100	Up to 10000

Reaching them returns MAX_OPEN_ORDERS_REACHED or MAX_CREATED_ORDERS_REACHED. To go beyond these limits, contact support.
