HTTP statuses and order error codes returned by the Spot Trading API, over REST and WebSocket.
Before you debug, check status.bit2me.com. If the platform is healthy and the error repeats, open a support ticket with timestamp (UTC), path, HTTP status, and a redacted body.
HTTP statuses
| Status | Typical cause on Pro REST | What to do |

| 400 | Invalid or missing fields | Check types (amounts are often strings) and required fields |
| 401 | HMAC or clock | NTP; nonce window 5s; x-api-key + api-signature + x-nonce. See Fix HMAC 401 |
| 403 | Invalid credentials on deposit/withdraw | Same body for a bad key or a bad signature. See Authentication |
| 404 | Wallet not found on deposit | Check ids |
| 412 | Price or amount outside market min/max on POST /v1/trading/order | Check GET /v2/trading/market-config |
| 418 | API ban after abuse of rate limits | Stop traffic; contact support |
| 429 | Rate limit | Back off. See Rate limits |
| 500 / 502 | Server-side | Retry later; check the status page |
Order errors
The code returned when an order or a funding operation is rejected, on REST and on the WebSocket.

AMOUNT_PRECISION_EXCEEDED | The amount has more decimals than this market supports |
BUY_PRICE_IS_ABOVE_INITIAL_PRICE | The buy price is above the initial price set for a market that has not started yet |
BUY_STOP_PRICE_IS_BELOW_INITIAL_PRICE | The stop buy price is below the initial price set for a market that has not started yet |
CREATE_ORDERS_DISABLED_TEMPORALLY | Order creation is temporarily disabled |
CURRENCY_NOT_SUPPORTED | Currency not supported |
DELETE_CLOSED_ORDER | The order you are trying to cancel is already deleted or completed |
DELETE_ORDERS_DISABLED_TEMPORALLY | Order cancellation is temporarily disabled |
DEPOSITS_DISABLED_TEMPORALLY | Deposits are temporarily disabled |
ERROR_CREATING_INTERNAL_ORDER | There was an error creating the order |
ERROR_CREATING_ORDER | There was an error creating the orders |
MARKET_CONFIG_NOT_FOUND | The market does not exist or is disabled |
MAX_CREATED_ORDERS_REACHED | The maximum number of orders created in the last hour for this market has been reached |
MAX_OPEN_ORDERS_REACHED | The maximum number of open orders has been reached |
MISSING_FROM_POCKET_ID | The source pocket of the funds is missing |
NOT_ENOUGH_BALANCE | Not enough funds |
NOT_ENOUGH_LIQUIDITY | Not enough liquidity in the market |
ONLY_LIMIT_ORDERS_ALLOWED | Only limit orders can be created at this time |
ORDER_AMOUNT_GREATER_MARKET_MAX | The amount is above the maximum for this market |
ORDER_AMOUNT_GREATER_TOTAL_AMOUNT_IN_PURCHASE | The sell amount exceeds the total buy liquidity for this market |
ORDER_AMOUNT_GREATER_TOTAL_AMOUNT_IN_SALE | The buy amount exceeds the total sell liquidity for this market |
ORDER_AMOUNT_LOWER_EQUAL_ZERO | The amount must be positive |
ORDER_AMOUNT_LOWER_MARKET_MIN | The amount is below the minimum for this market |
ORDER_PRICE_LOWER_EQUAL_ZERO | The price must be positive |
ORDER_SIZE_LOWER_MARKET_MIN | The order size (amount × price) is below the minimum for this market |
ORDER_STOP_PRICE_LOWER_EQUAL_ZERO | The stop price must be positive |
PRICE_GREATER_MARKET_MAX | The price is above the maximum for this market |
PRICE_LOWER_MARKET_MIN | The price is below the minimum for this market |
PRICE_PRECISION_EXCEEDED | The price has more decimals than this market supports |
SELL_PRICE_IS_BELOW_INITIAL_PRICE | The sell price is below the initial price set for a market that has not started yet |
SELL_STOP_PRICE_IS_ABOVE_INITIAL_PRICE | The stop sell price is above the initial price set for a market that has not started yet |
TIME_IN_FORCE_INVALID | This timeInForce is not allowed for this order type |
TRADING_WALLET_NOT_BALANCE | The wallet has no balance |
TRADING_WALLET_NOT_FOUND | Wallet not found |
USER_IS_ALREADY_CREATING_ORDER | You are creating another order at the same time |
WITHDRAWS_DISABLED_TEMPORALLY | Withdrawals are temporarily disabled |
