Bit2Me APIMCP errors
401, nonce, 429, 400, and funds errors when using the MCP server.
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| 401 Unauthorized | Trim spaces in .env. Confirm Wallets / Trading (and Earn / Loans if you use those tools). Copy the full key and secret. |
| Invalid signature / nonce | Sync the clock with NTP. HMAC window is 5 seconds. |
| 429 | Back off. portfolio_get_valuation fans out to multiple HTTP calls. Wait before retry. |
| ECONNRESET / timeout | Network or platform issue. Retry. Check status. |
| Insufficient funds | wallet_get_pockets first. Include fees. |
| Symbol not found | MCP pairs are BASE-QUOTE (BTC-EUR). Use broker_get_asset_data or general_get_assets_config. |
| 400 | Types and required fields. Amounts are strings with . decimals. |
| Invalid amount | pro_get_market_config for min/max. |
| 500 / 502 | Retry later; check status. |
